What is Stochastic Oscillator?
The Stochastic Oscillator compares a stock's closing price to its price range over a specified period (typically 14 days). It generates %K and %D lines ranging 0–100. Above 80 = overbought; below 20 = oversold. The crossover of %K and %D lines generates buy/sell signals.

What is the difference between RSI and Stochastic?
RSI measures speed of price change. Stochastic measures where price sits relative to its recent high-low range. Stochastic is more sensitive and generates more signals than RSI. In trending markets, RSI is preferred (stochastic gives too many false signals). In ranging markets, stochastic is often better.
What is the Stochastic divergence signal?
Like RSI divergence: if price makes a new high but stochastic fails to make a new high, it's a bearish divergence. If price makes a new low but stochastic makes a higher low, it's a bullish divergence. These divergences are among the most reliable reversal signals in technical analysis.
